Abstract

This paper explores the close relationship between traditional knowledge and conservation among indigenous communities. It examines how traditional practices and knowledge systems contribute to Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Development. Using thematic analysis, the study highlights the significance of traditional ecological knowledge, community-based conservation, and the integration of Indigenous and Social Work Interventions. Finally, it examines how policymakers can support the sustainable development initiatives of the tribes. The paper emphasizes the need for stronger policy support and community-centered approaches to preserve and integrate Indigenous knowledge into contemporary conservation and development strategies.
